To help me cope with quarantine, I picked up cooking and baking, and started a backyard farm. I decided to make this piece to show how being in quarantine can also give you a chance to escape. Learning a few new skills, and continuing to develop skills you did not get a chance to work on before is like adding a cherry on top of your ice cream. It is a little something to look at the bright side of a historical event that could be seen as detrimental to society. When you look at the bright side of this pandemic, you see hobbies that people picked up that began as an escape, but now have become important to their lives. People are now grateful for every little thing in their life, and this pandemic has brought us closer to our families and grateful for everyone around them.
