With AI devices ranging from kitchen appliances to vacuums growing in popularity, physical labor and work seem to fade more and more into oblivion. Art, however, is an exception: the artist must spend time, dedication, and effort to create something intricate, unique, and beautiful. Each piece can take anywhere from hours to weeks or even years to complete. However, is art always an exception?

In recent years, computer software has advanced from aiding an artist to being the artist. With the right coding, artists can create exquisite and otherworldly images. Whether they’re modifying classical works or creating original pieces, artists can bring their full scope of talents to the table and take advantage of technology’s extensive capabilities. The result? An alien-like form of beauty combining elements from all corners of art. To take it even further, programmers can teach computers to create art without an artist. Special recognition programs allow computer software to study a piece of art and mimic similar details and patterns to create an original masterpiece. Instead of repeating the artist, the program rhymes the design. Moreover, due to its relative newness, cyberart is a modern genre still in its youth. With ever-developing AI, the possibilities that computer software and cyberart bring to the expansive world of art are endless.
