From the simple design of a cereal box to the details on your blanket, art is everywhere; all you need to do is look.
Art is the expression of creative skill and imagination. You may think art is just for the professionals, but that’s where you are wrong. Art is for the young, the old, the big, the small, the professionals, the beginners. It is the process of expressing your emotions in any way that is unique to you with skills you develop over time and dedication. There is no right or wrong way to do art, just how there is no right or wrong way to express yourself.
Music. Listen, compose, share. Music is the production of words, rhythms, and beats woven and strung together with emotions that the artist can only make others feel through sound. One person may like classical while the other enjoys rock, but there is no such thing as good or bad music, and that’s what’s so amazing about music because there are so many different genres of music that there is one for every person and each emotion.
“…..that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.”
– Aldous Huxley
Words. They’re everywhere: in our simple daily conversations to more elaborate expressions of literature like poetry and prose. We use it every day to communicate and express ourselves with those around us. It allows us to show the world how we feel and impact our readers with the weapon mightier than the sword.
The written word can flow like a gentle wave or attack with force like a tsunami.
Imagine. In art, the only thing you need is your imagination, and a means to express that imagination creatively. So, look around, get inspiration, find your own unique way to show your true colors to the world.
