This original song that I wrote and sang was inspired by my roots. It is about where I came from, how I was raised, and how so many generations have worked hard to get to this point of my family tree. Especially being a first-generation Asian in America, there is a lot to adjust to, but no matter where I am, what I do, or who I’m with, I will never forget who I am and stay true to my roots.
