This painting addresses one of the many problems that our world is dealing with today: climate change and global warming. As seen in the picture, there is an image of an iceberg depicting how global warming can cause icecaps to melt, which affects us directly because major cities near the coast such as San Francisco and others will soon be submerged in water if temperatures keep rising. As well as icecaps melting, deforestation is also taking place, where mass amounts of trees/forests are being cut down for space to urbanize and build more factories. As more factories grow, pollution will simultaneously increase and slowly, the pollution will be dispersed to nearby cities, affecting our health and air quality. All of these things are happening as we speak and yet there are still a part of people who believe that all this is fake and made-up. If we continue to ignore all the data and information that states climate change is happening and that the Earth is getting warmer, we will soon notice that our “normal” way of life will have to change. People who currently live near the coastline will have to move because of rising sea levels and people who have health problems such as asthma will need to wear masks daily because the air quality is so poor. That being said, do your part to save our planet!
