Recently, I moved from San Francisco to the Pacific Northwest. This change is something I never expected to do. However, it may have also been one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made. This drawing shows a fairy letting go of the Bay, represented by the bridge. The wings emerging on her back represent how much freer she feels. This piece made me experiment a lot with different brushes and techniques, and I really enjoyed it.
