In this piece “After a Long Day of Playing”, I referenced an image I found online depicting a little child and a cat looking out. What really pulled me in was the eyes of the child and the position the cat and the child was in. It seemed as if in the picture, they were too tired from playing and so the child rested his chin on the wooden board, and the cat doing the same with its paws. I have experienced this exact same feeling after being assigned a bunch of assignments and tests to study for during school. This emotion and feeling I had in common with the picture is the reason why I decided to draw this picture.
