Astronaut

“He has the flying machine, he can escape from Earth at any time.” We all want to find ourselves without the expectations of others. It’s easy to get away from people, but it’s hard to fit in with the world. Everyone’s an astronaut. It’s actually kind of nice to be a mindless, emotion-free robot. The body is not at the mercy of itself, only the remaining internal drive is providing the power. If people have the right to face reality, they have the right to escape reality. I think to simply agree with the former is to reject the plurality of this reality. Just as we choose to believe in one thing as a result, we choose to doubt and deny another. We choose one, we discard the other, and in the end, what you see is what you think. You’re your own player. You’re your own judge. As an astronaut, you can escape.
