This snippet of my new song, “Glow,” is about escaping to the “idea” or infatuation of a person, in order to get away from your own life’s reality. I feel that during this pandemic, we have all been wrapped up in the thoughts of the future, and becoming obsessed with the idea of “what could happen,” instead of what is actually going on. “Glow” reflects the story of blindly falling for someone’s facade, simply because it is a distraction from current life issues.
